CONFERENCE BROCHURE

Why should I attend?

You will learn about:

  • The new resources and policies that will emerge from this year's wild energy markets; opportunities for Community Action to lead their communities in a Climate Change Campaign;
  • Expanding resources for efficient "green" development - affordable housing and beyond;
  • What's ahead for vulnerable energy consumers and how to protect them;
  • How your peers are tapping into new opportunities to grow their energy initiatives

What can I expect?

Provocative and visionary presentations- culminating with the address by Professor Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.  Our Environmental Destiny: Sustainable Communities

A mix of 1½ hour workshops; one-hour highly focused seminars; and NCAF's signature "roundtable" opportunities to discuss your specific issues in depth with the experts.

  • Exclusive training for Executive Directors who are generalists
  • Introductory Sessions  for Beginners: Energy Concepts, Leveraging, Advocacy and Successful Utility Partnerships
  • Regional breakouts: understand new regional utility markets and the shared challenges among neighboring states; start a coalition!

Ask our past participants!  It's guaranteed you will:

  • Hear of opportunities you never imagined
  • Learn concepts you didn't know,
  • Pick up a new skill you need,
  • Make contacts with experts who will help you in the future, and
  • Discover at least one model initiative that will work at home.
